Blake Peters is a terrible person. She's someone with a secret that would ruin everything she's ever built up. She's has lies, deception, and a false smile that would make even Barbie jealous; and she's content... she needs to be. But, she's not even fully out of her house and into her freshman dorm before everything comes crashing down. One little slip up, one too many drinks, and one person is all it takes for Blake to lose her perfect façade, and her best friend. She knew that this would happen--it was a matter of months, days even, but she knew--the world has a sick and twisted sense of humour and Blake was no exception. Blake is a lot of things, but she is not a home wrecker. Especially when it comes down to Tiffany O'Malley, her (former) best-friend, and her (extremely attractive and nice) boyfriend Matthew Chamberlain. It wasn't supposed to happen, but before Blake could blink, she was hopelessly falling for her best-friend's boyfriend. And she hated herself for it. With old scars healing, new people to meet, and that weird man with the tree, Blake realizes that maybe the world doesn't revolve around Matthew Chamberlain, and maybe it was time to forget. The question is: How?
