Michael, a young poet, is a loner and his mom is never home to care for him. Growing up believing that there was nothing more to his life, he begins to change his perspective when he meets his soon to be best friend Brian who, even though he is the polar opposite of Michael, shows Michael the brighter sides of life but what happens to them as they go through school, peer pressure and society's standard?

Joseph finds his home a good one, when he met Rebecca it even got better. When Rebecca started looking for his grandfather, Joseph volunteered to come and help her. They started to rediscover his home and find out that it is not perfect at all.
