Movie Title: SWIFT Director: Jack Reeds Settings: Outback Australia, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Plymouth Rock Studios, various towns/cities in America Characters: Tori Sands (age 18, shy, clever, Aussie), Taylor Swift (age 23, singer, friendly, outgoing), Harry Styles (age 18, 1/5 of boyband, a little romantic, good-natured). Plot: Tori is on her way to MIT to start university. Used to the simplicity of an outback-Australian life living in Yulara, she's in for a surprise when she learns that she looks exactly like pop sensation Taylor Swift – who she never knew even existed. At the airport on her way to Logan International, she's met by confused but pleased fans who bombard her with questions and pleads for her autograph and a photo. When Taylor's management company asks Tori for a favour, she's a little reluctant to say yes, but she eventually agrees, drawn by the fact that she can still go to university and that she'll be paid, a necessity for a comfortable life in a new country. Turns out Taylor wants a break and is planning on going on a secret holiday that no one but management knows about, but she's supposed to be filming a movie of her life called 'Swift'. So Tori's job is to pretend to be Taylor in real life, and play her part in the movie for her. But Tori hates performing in any way, and she doesn't like attention either. It only gets worse when she bumps into Taylor's ex-boyfriend that no one mentioned to her, Harry Styles. Tori's eager to avoid him – but Harry's a little fascinated by this new, different Taylor and won't let her escape his life that easily. Can Tori possibly juggle Taylor's personal, professional, and romantic life, ALL at once? Will she crumble and fall, discovered by the media? What about Harry? What about the REAL Taylor? It's starting to look like way to much to deal with – especially when you're still going to university, part-time, disguised as a brunette. Who knows what's going to happen? And... action.
