It seemed like Kayla Ryans and Jake Mitchells had it all figured out when they started their senior year of high school. Two talented and squared away people who happened to be crazy about each other. Now four years after they met they cringe at the sound of the other's name and refuse to discuss what happened between them. What happened? Clearly they didn't just drift apart. Now as the summer before their senior year of college starts they will be forced to confront each other and what happened between them. They've both changed drastically in four years, but when you get rid of all the tension and pain of the past can they fix the mess they've made? Ariel Brooks lives a good life. She has an amazingly large house and a wonderful puppy and a great best friend. She even has one thing that most teenagers would die for- her own house. Well, not technically, but she does live by herself. Her dad is always away on business and her brother is out of the house, so she has the house to herself. She does what most people would do in this situation- parades around without pants on, drinks milk out of the carton, and plays her music way too loud. Ariel isn’t particularly happy about being alone so much, but she doesn’t complain because she knows that she has a good life. That is, until her best friend asks her for a favor of all favors and it changes Ariel’s perspective on everything.

Taylor Sophia Kingsley is the girl everyone is jealous about. Perfect body, perfect hair, long legs that seem to go on forever. At 5'8, she has it all. But she hasn't always been the girl everyone was jealous of. In fact, she use to be the girl everyone bullied. The girl she was today wasn't the girl she was 3 years ago. In pictures, you couldn't tell the difference between then Taylor and now Taylor. Then Taylor was way too overweight, had braces, acne, and the biggest glasses ever. To top it off, she had decided cutting her long locks off was the way to go after her mom had passed away. And everyday 3 people would torment her to the point where she would skip school because she couldn't face her classmates. Food became her only friend, her best friend. To add the cherry to the top, her tormentors were her ex best friends from elementary. Riley Sanders, Austin Mahone and Lindy Bynes. Riley and Austin were the worst. Lindy resisted at first but I knew she was scared of Riley and Austin ditching her for someone cooler so she joined in. She wasn't as mean as Riley and Austin but it still hurt, knowing she agreed with them. About 2 months into her 8th grade year, her dad's job transferred him to Miami, Florida where Taylor was homeschooled for the rest of the year. At the start of her freshman year at Miami High, the acne was gone, she got her braces off, her glasses were replaced with contacts and her hair had grow back. She started eating right and exercising daily and like magic, the weight she thought she would never get rid of came right off. And her boobs which she thought would always be tiny A cups finally grew into C's. But now she's back in San Antonio to finish her senior year. And she's not alone. She will get revenge for all she had to go through and her best friend Bailee is going to help her.

Alexandria Simmons has never been noticed at her high school, Hartwell High. With only having two best friends, she's actually pretty ok with not having anyone bother her for always having a book in her hand, or for keeping to herself. It's actually pretty surprising that no one had the guts to talk trash about her behind her back, or to laugh at how different she is from the rest of the girls in their student body, well maybe that was because of her older brother; by 1 year, Cameron Simmons, who was sort of like the Troy Bolton of their school, and if you ever got on his bad side, well that would definitely suck for you. Alex had an average life, it was as if she was riding one of those slow kiddy rides at an amusement park, that you were forced to go on by your younger siblings or relatives. Her life was simply too boring, plain, simple, so bland. That was until Mr. Jayce Reynolds stepped into the picture. Jayce Reynolds, who was sort of like a younger cockier version of Cameron. Everyone expected him to take over the football team once Cam graduated. Being only a junior, and being one of the best football players in that school was something everyone idolized him for. He was expected to become a football player by his classmates, or to take over some big corporate company by his dad. Speaking of his dad, his family was probably the most dysfunctional yet peculiar group of people that ever stepped on this earth. Aside from that, having the "perfect" girlfriend and being a part of the "popular" crowd had its perks, but Jayce thought otherwise. He wasn't the perfect person everyone portrayed him to be, and Alex is the person who figures that out. Copyright © 2013 Queenfreakco All Rights Reserved [Updated]: May 25, 2014

"A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you." -Elbert Hubbard ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ She was everything but fine. Being bullied has become a part of Gwen Patton's life, and all she ever wanted was a friend. Especially when every aspect of her life is miserable. So when she meets geeky and socially awkward, Max Henderson at Louis' Diner she intends on keeping the rumors about her and her past under wraps. But you can only pretend that everything is fine for so long until everything has been unraveled, then there is nothing left to do but to admit that you aren't, in fact, fine. ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ ✚ I squeeze his hand to let him know I'm fine and that what he said doesn't bother me. In fact I expected that from Pa and an earful when we see each other whether that be tonight or tomorrow. I know for a fact that Pa will not forgive me for ruining what little percent he thought he had at moving forward in his career. As we walk back to his house I murmur, "You look better without your hair covering up your beautiful eyes." He looks at me surprised. "Really?" he questions incredulously. I nod. "Why so surprised?" "Because m-most people find m-my eye color a bit-t odd," he explains. "Not me." He stays silent for a minute digesting what I said before he murmurs into my ear, "And you look your b-best when no one is p-pushing you to dress a-as somebody you're n-not."
