A "day in the life" type of Scarlet and Herb Overkill story that I'm writing from the seat of my pants. I have no idea where inspiration came from and I have no idea where the plot's going. Will be updated sporadically and in short spurts Mostly tame content. I think. It's hard to tell with the Overkills because, well, you know.

This story takes place at a time during Scarlet Overkill's history after she'd established herself as a supervillain force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, being at the top of her game comes with its own set of obstacles. Content alert: graphic violence, mild gore, sexism, coarse language, torture, mature themes. "Her Darkest Fear" has an upbeat ending, but you might want to have a comfort item within reach just in case.

This Overkills vignette takes place after Herb becomes Scarlet Overkill's inventor, but before they become an official couple. Herb is already wildly in love with Scarlet and instinctively senses she may feel the same. However, he won't make a move until Scarlet indicates she's ready. Herb is patient and will wait as long as it takes. As for Scarlet, she's developed a strong affection for Herb, but isn't ready to call it love. Nor has she realized just how deep her feelings go-until an unexpected event puts everything into focus. Content alert: Angst galore. Some salty language. Also includes shameless Austin Powers and Thunderbird homages because reasons.
