Camp half-blood is in chaos. Camp Jupiter just can't think straight anymore. Why? Because the only demigod son of Hades, Nico Di Angelo, is missing. The only person who seems to have an idea of his whereabouts is Hades but he has locked up the underworld and refuses to tell our heroes anything. Nico's sister Hazel is frantic and his boyfriend Will is worried out of his mind. But Hades can't throw the rest of the gang into this mess. No, it would be better if his son Nico does this on his own.

Come on a journey with Nico and Percy as they discover the emotions that they have been hiding from themselves and each other for years, read as they ride through a roller coaster of emotions, they will have the best and worst days of their lives as Aphrodite warps the way they feel for her own amusement, will they stay together, finally have their happily ever after, or should Percy have stayed in a happy but untruthful love with Annabeth, Nico stayed destitute and emotionless, still hating the boy he feared he loved, the forbidden love of the boy who killed his whole world, the boy who taught him life could never be just a game.
