Po odcestovaní za prácou žurnalistky z Londýna do Bostonu by mal jej život naberať iné rozmery, čo sa však stane, je pravým opakom. Mohla si kľudne priať niečo iné, než stretnúť dve vyšinuté mladšie študentky, neprajných susedov a mať každodenné telefonáty od jej rodičov. Boston jej začína meniť život, no nik nevie, či ku dobrému alebo zlému. Keď sa mesto po roku stane jej domovom, otázka je či pre ňu neskrýva ešte ďalšie prekvapenia. Možno len teraz sa jej život prevráti na ruby a možno nebola náhoda, že stretla toho, koho videla len na internete a od vtedy, čo ho objavila, ho aj začala obdivovať.
