Chasity's plan is simple... 1. PRETEND TO BE A GUY, 2. Get picked as Fall Out Boy's new drummer, 3. Earn money, 4. Pay family's debts and; 5. Leave the band. It's only a five step task...but everything changed when the vocalist of the band, Patrick Stump, asked her to PRETEND TO BE HIS LOVER. It is only a cover-up story so that he could make his grandmother believe that he prefers 'guys' and escape the fixed marriage she had arranged for him. It shouldn't be a pain for Chasity so she agreed to the 'play pretend' game...but soon she realized that things began to happen around her that she didn't sign-up for...and she had no choice but to continue because it's too late to turn back now.

In the future after a war has destroyed much of the human race. people are paired using a common interests test for marriage at the age of eighteen, for fear of the past of divorces, wars and unhappiness that plagued the old world. This is how Bethany meets Patrick, through a government forced marriage. Will they be able to escape the new world and it's rules? Or is there no where to run to on the outside of the black marble gates of the New World? this is an AU fan fiction
