They say you don't remember a lot from when you are young. That all you have are feelings and emotions. But I know that isn't true. I remember my mother's touch, the tender way she held me. I remember the urgency in her eyes, the sound of her terrified screams piercing the air. I remember her last words and the men dragging her away. My name is Sephora Baxter and this is the story of how one night changed my life forever. What do you do when everything you know about your life isn't real?

I was eight when I first saw a man executed. Nine when I saw the tenth. Ten when I stopped counting. Before each of these men died I dressed their wounds, bought their food, gave them a smile when they expected a frown. I was their hope, the thing that allowed them to cling to life. Then I sent them to their death. It is my job, my duty. I learnt it from my mother and she from hers. I will teach it to mine and she to hers. I am the Angle of Mercy.

I suck at descriptions so I'll just tell you what I think..... This is my first try at writing a story and I wanted to do something different and i feel i have. Romance -#183 [06-04-15] ♥ "I have never killed a girl before, it has been with me like a rule. You know, never to kill or hit a girl. Do you want that to change... princess?" He growls as he presses his face dangerously close, so close that his skin is pressed against my ear. The hairs on his moustache prick my skin like little needles as his hot breath run chills down my spine. "No. Please... don't! It hurts..." I cry as a single, silent tear slides down my cheek. My heart feels as if it will burst out of my chest any second now. His nostrils flare as he takes a deep breath before opening his eyes, which stare intensely at me."Will. You. Tell. Anyone?" He slowly hisses every word into my ear as if it means something that I don't know. "No, I promise... I won't. Just please... I beg you to stop." I cry, closing my eyes and biting my lip to stop myself from bursting into tears. "Good girl." He speaks unusually calm, has he done this to other people before? "I know who you are and I don't care, you just better not open your mouth to anyone, otherwise I will finish the job properly next time." He spits at me, turning away and leaving me stranded. ♥ Adrian Armstead is quiet but is known to be the cities big "bad boy" who doesn't let anyone get into the way of his life whilst Angel Heavens is the total opposite. Angel is the girl everyone wants to be, though however, she doesn't know it. Not only is her name angelic, she is vibrant and has a bubbly personality that can make anyone love her. Angel's life looks like it is perfect and her only life goal is to live up to her families expectations. Everything in her life seems like it is going well but that is until she meets Adrian, the hidden son of the world's most well-known criminal and the most handsome boy of the city, who changes her life in a way that she is left with no words.
