Ariel Fontansia is ten pounds away from total relapse. Since the previous summer, she has been stuck in a vicious cycle of calories, pounds, and inches. Redemption, Maine, isn't another escape -- it's a dead end. With no one to keep her disorder in check and hallucinations of a dead cousin driving her insane, she falls into an isolation that could prove detrimental. Standing in her way is a black-eyed boy with an anger complex: Price Olsen, who wants her to see more than the bad side of his grief. With an absentee father and a mute little sister, he recognizes the signs of someone on the edge. He wants to save Ariel, but up until this point, he's had a nasty penchant for ruining relationships. When her best friend overdoses, Ariel is forced to face the deterioration of her own mind and body. Price, frustrated by his inability to help her, fights the anger that threatens to take an ugly twist. As their fragile friendship teeters, another bruised, broken teenager chasing reconciliation stumbles through their lives. Yet she isn't just another damsel; this girl has a history in Redemption that involves the death of Ariel's cousin. Peaceful lives unraveling, all three discover that Redemption is harboring a secret with dangerous consequences. Now, they will be forced to face their past - and their present - to determine the course of their future. But how far are they willing to go for redemption?

There is a community of the spirit. Join it, and feel the delight of walking in the noisy street, and being the noise. Drink all your passion, and be a disgrace. Close both eyes to see with the other eye. Open your hands, if you want to be held. Sit down in this circle. Quit acting like a wolf, and feel the shepherd's love filling you. At night, your beloved wanders. Don't accept consolations. Close your mouth against food. Taste the food. You moan, "She left me." "He left me." Twenty more will come. Be empty of worrying. Think of who created thought! Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking. Live in silence. Flow down and down in always widening rings of being. There's a strange frenzy in my head, of birds, flying, each particle circulating on its own. Is the one I love everywhere? Drunks fear the police, but the police are drunk too. People in this town love them both like different chess pieces. ----------------------------------- All things that we hide in our hearts eat us alive. This book is - full of emotions, love, care and agitation. Well, you need to read this to know what's in. Moreover, It consists of quotes, snippets, poems, bits of advice...Ummm simply deep and random stuff. Go Ahead! HIGHEST rank #1 in poetry as of 19.02.2018 ----------------------------------- 4/10/17 --- 19/04/18

Lucille is 17 years old. She does not have many friends. She's always been by herself since she had a hard time making friends. Ethan is also 17 years old. He is one of the most popular guys at school. He is the head of his baseball team. Boys admire him. And girls drool over his perfect looks. One night Ethan saves Lucille from a robbery. From there, one crazy decision made by the two to become "friends with benefits" leads to an endless, hot romance that's full of tears and untold feelings.

a collection of poems in which you meet twenty-six boys and read their stories from the perspective of twenty-six other boys. you've met most of them before, in reality, outside these pages. and you've seen some of their faces in the street. and you read some of their names in their social media urls or the headlines. you may have had a crush on a few and wished death upon one or two. who knows? (i don't. but you will the moment you recognise a story or a name or a quote, and god, i'm so, so sorry if the recognition pulls a threat of memories you think you have burnt away.) © 2018, jack (-reject), all rights reserved.
