Because in all of the fanfics I've read the story, and literally all of them, just become of the 2 characters ( Daniel's "girlfriend" and Daniel ) and suddenly the parents disappear and all of the other characters. Me: "what about Daniel's family?" Them: "Nope." But wtf. Like what about Wheezy? What about Rebecca? And the characters are always 14 so? I mean not to offend anybody if your stories end up like that, but I mean come on. I also hate it when people base the character that dates Daniel off themselves. Like my name is Charlie and Jaylie is just a made up character. And none of Jaylie's characteristics or anything that has happened to her has happened to me. All of the family members are just characters*
