Love. It was something Matt Webb, the guitarist of a band called Marianas Trench, never wanted. Since high school, he tried his best to stay away from commited relationships. He didn't want to experience that feeling called love. One phone call, that's all it took to spin Matt's life into an unexpected turn. This phone call happened to get this young man into a car accident, thus, meeting a young girl by the name of Avery Giddings. Seems like the most typical and cliche love story ever, right? Meeting the girl of your dreams in the rain, looking into her eyes, falling in love and saying "I love you," millions of times. Thus, changing the man who never wanted to love. Wrong. Lost, ignored, judged, and disenchanted, Avery isn't one for trusting people. Her gut tells her to never trust men, not even one who seemed as sweet as Matt. No one could be trusted. Like Matt, Avery never wanted love. But the two young adults learn a thing or two from one another. Avery learns that not everyone is as bad as they seem and Matt, he learns that you don't always have to use your words to say how you feel. Sometimes, you just don't have to say anything. Not a word.
