This is the actual book written by Margaret Peterson Haddix. I read this book in 5th grade and basically fell in love with it. So I thought that everyone else would love this enchanting story. I think the ending of the story was my favorite part, except the fact that the book was over, because it made you feel that there are actually happily ever afters even if you have had a tough life.

Olivia and Olive are mermaid twins abandoned in the human world just after birth at a place called Leamouth, on the Irish shore. They are adopted by two different young couples. Olivia is raised in Florida, and Olive is raised in California. At age 14, they meet again in Leamouth. They discover a secret lake inside a cave, and when a lunar eclipse takes place, they sea claims them again. The ocean starts calling to them at night, and when they confess this to each other, they decide to answer the call together. Soon, they realize who they are, and they embark on a quest to find their true family.

Two twin sisters, two different personalities. One loves basketball, the other hates it. One of them loves shopping, the other one doesn't. What will happen to these two sisters? Find out by reading this story.
