"Hold my hand until we turn to ashes, Love me 'til they put me in my casket, I got all these feelings that I'm maskin' Can I lay it on you? That's what I'm askin." My hand gripped the mic as I sang, I was now lost in his alluring gaze. I felt like he was daring me to step closer...should I ? I did, my heart was now pounding as I gripped the mic. The music swelled but my voice faltered. The lyrics seemed to echo the tension in the air. "Red wine kissin' in the house that your parents Got for you, rented, how'd you forget it? I think about you and nothin' else...if you would just come over, I could show you for myself. " He smirked, leaning forward, I stepped closer, inhaling the sweet smell of his cologne. He pulled me to him, the heat of his fingers causing my breath to stop momentarily... "Show me what I'm missing Melodi..." he whispered. 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢'𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮...

Widening the door I seen him holding another bag, with flowers in his hand and a blunt behind his ear "really? More peace offerings?" "Ain't none wrong in that" I thanked him for it as I was raised with manners I placed the flowers on the counter alongside the bag not bothered to look inside and see what he got. "That's how you gon do me?" He asked pointing at the flowers on the counter. "I mean flowers really not cutting anything right now" I shrugged. "It better cause I came here to apologise" he walked over and stood in front of me with his tall ass self. "Mhm" I hummed ready to hear what he has to say. "Real shit though. I know I ain't really been on my shit cause I got other shit I'm dealing with so Ion really wanna put that onto you cause you'n deserve none of that. So I told you Ion wanna rush it so I don't become the man that don't treat you good" at this point he put his hand in mine and used his thumb to rub the back of my hand in circular motions. "So I wanna apologise for allat cause I ain't really tell you what's going on but Ion really wanna wait for that date no more". There was just some in his eyes that was getting me especially with his head being slightly tilted not even thinking of trying to break eye contact with me. "So what does that mean?"

"How are you supposed to keep your man with your hair in that mess, Tamia?" "And has your hair been looking like that all week?" She went on talking about my hair now, considering it was blown-out instead of well kept, hot combed and straightened the way that she liked. "No, mama." I dragged, annoyed completely now with all of my peace gone in this moment. "I just got out of the shower and I just finished washing and blow-drying my hair." "I'm going to hot comb it and then flat iron it when I'm finished doing my skincare." "Yasin's not going to be home until tomorrow probably anyway." I threw in there but of course she wouldn't chastise him about why and where.
