In a village far far away, yet not so long from now lives a peaceful people who have prospered long enough to watch the mountains rise, fall, then rise again. This utopian village among what seems to be the central bush of Africa have never known hunger, or murder like the world of old, protected by the tree which towers above all mountains within its view. Always keeping the weather hospitable, and the wildest of nature's animals at bay. The Bondongo Tree hears all under him, and loves many more, especially those of destiny, brave enough to seek this adventurous journey toward their fate. Will the warriors find the victory they bleed for? Will the little girl find the solace of existence she perceives in everyone around her? Will a mother along, with her band of brethren, be able to save her little boy? This tale fashioned along the lines of the majestic oral tales of the mother land, echoes those weaved by the elder's around the prehistoric fires of old. It is called "The Bondongo Tree." The protagonist is a small girl who is chosen to be the integral member of a band who have set out from their village to rescue a little boy, who has been stolen away by a massive flying sentient creature. The other members of the band consist of; the elder warrior, the warrior quick, the warrior strong, the twins, the hunter, and the mother. This story was inspired by the many teachings of my father using Aesop's stories, the history of African nations, and Africa's truly ancient oral stories of mystical people and creatures. I struggled to create a bedtime story, where after every sentence I begged God from within my heart to allow sleep to come for us all. After telling this story it became a frequent request. During this time I recognized the inner workings of my babies curiosities, and rational for this world I created. As they asked for more I made up all that I could give.

Back Cover: Urban Noir ... of sex, scandal, and murder in the streets. Jaquez Montana a sensitive yet ruthless man trapped within the game, who was setup by both his wife and best friend. Incarcerated hundreds of miles away from NYC, he escapes to reclaim what is rightfully his, and deliver the dish that is best served cold, though not particularly in that order. You will be taken along for a ride of which nothing is as it seems, and no character can be trusted to stay in their lane. While Jaquez was left for dead in the backward state of Alabama's non-justice system due to a set-up, Jaquez fell in love with who was then just a side piece, who happened to be the crime bosses daughter. Both Jaquez's wife Omari, and this mistress Marisa are voluptuous and thicker still respectively. A story of dysfunction in the streets; The language used is often vulgar, sexist, and very often offensive, with over the top swearing. Narration is less so. Similar to "Catcher in the Eye", or "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer"'s styles, and already existing urban novella, there is language as I have experienced both on the streets and in prison. This colorful language is also used within the characters thought's inspired by Frank Herbert's "Dune". This story is what I like to call QUASI BIOGRAPHICAL. The injustice of being locked up for crime I didn't commit, without process (DUE OR OTHERWISE), and the betrayal this time by the person other than your parents sworn to love and support you "in sickness and in health". Please check my story out and vote. Jaquez is just as blunt, and seemingly shallow as many of the characters he is surrounded by (a product of his environment?). He is introspective to the best of his ability and education. He is aware of the "trap(s)" of the game(s) yet doesn't quite see the need to escape.
