Nere and her friends are back from Atlantea, along with (most of) Kuron's kids. Nere is still torn between Dai and Tobin and fights to control her feelings. The kids try to adjust to life back at Safety Harbor, but just when everything seems ok again, they get an unexpected- and dangerous- surprise from an old "friend." Mix the two together, add jealously, possessiveness, hatred, a pack, friends, family and some other drama and you've got the story, of Alana and Michael.
