With Reaper always one step ahead, Valerie must find a way to change the game, or risk never catching up to an enemy with the conviction and power to upset the delicate balance that protects those without magic from being exploited. As the Fractus grow in number and strength, can Valerie convince enough Conjurors to fight by her side against a menace that could upend the universe? In the third novel of The Conjurors Series, Valerie has the life she's always dreamed of-a family, a budding romance, and powerful magic that she is finally learning to harness. Sequel to The Lethal Princess. Must read first book before this. Becoming princess of an entire nation: That was difficult, but manageable for Avril. Having to marry before she was ready: Once again another difficulty, but it was inevitable. Planet hopping to save the fate of her world: Definitely where Avril draws the line. Head-strong and determined, Avril and her friends (thanks to Avril) find themselves on the biggest adventure of their lives. Not only does Avril find herself battling through new foreign territories, but now she must combat the obstacles of surviving along with her friends, planet wars, and figuring out how to love somehow with an equal amount of temper as her's, Ike. The Wattys 2014 "Undiscovered Gem" Stella Henry is afraid of a lot of things. As a child, her simple, comfortable home life did not prepare her for the sort of people whom she would meet as a younger teenager. Now eighteen and a freshman at Clemson University, Stella meets Charlie, who, like her, has long been keeping others at bay. Though his disposition is kind and gentle, Charlie is a boxer, and his world only reminds Stella of elements of her past she would like to forget. When both realize that they have a safe place in one another, they start to overcome their fear of other people, and of letting them get close enough to matter. In many ways, this is a story about allowing people to matter to our lives, and about meaning something to them, in turn. At some point in your day, in your routine, in your life, you will matter to someone. That is a special kind of power, do be careful with it. "We love people not so much for the good they've done us, as for the good we've done them." Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace

We're always drawn to something we can't have. I just happen to be drawn to a criminal, a man who is beyond the pale. "Mi Amor, put the knife down." His words were so calm and husky. They weren't suppose to arouse her. She was holding on to the butcher knife with her dear life. "How do you know where I live! You shouldn't be here." Her voice wobbled, the first sharp stab of anxiety hit her when he took a step towards her. Why was he here? She stared in fear at the man in front of her. His naked chest glistened with sweat, his body tight, muscly and toned. Mouth watering. In the dim light of her kitchen, her eyes managed to travel over the tattoos on his right peck and bicep. "I shouldn't, but I am." He gave a slow sexy smile at her as he put his hands up in surrender. Her eyes widened at the evident bulge that was restricted in his black sweat pants. "Get out!" Before she knew it, he had lunged at her. Her knife now at her throat. "Silencio." Book Cover by Createdforyou

[UNPUBLISHING TO RE EDIT] I highly doubt anyone's still reading this but, if so I'm going to put this story under reconstruction and try and make it much better than it was from years ago. I'm not sure if I'm going to change some of the plot or if I'm just going to stick with it. I have no idea on what anyone wants from this book 😅 so I'm going to try my best to keep it and I'm not sure if anyone wants it all to be published in one go (that may take a while) or publish by each chapter I edit) -------------- I didn't want to face any of them right now or anyone at all. "Angelica wait!" Grant's voice echoed I was in the forest attempting to escape the world and get lost in my thoughts. I ran faster even with the new strength I could feel pulsing through my veins I knew I couldn't outrun him. "Wait Angelica, I can explain everything" he pleads but I through his lies I gave him a second chance to confess himself. I am tugged by my arm and I finally face him and even as I told myself no more tears, I couldn't help my face stream with tears. I swallowed deeply and he awaited my response "Explain what. That you went behind my back and kissed someone I despise just because we had a disagreement" He tries to hold my face but I turn away "it wasn't like that I promise" "I don't need to listen to you" ***************** Angel is a 17 year old werewolf, she can't shift and she gets bullied for that, she's sweet and kind always follows the rules to get out of trouble. Her life changes when she meets her Alpha mate, she uncovers the lies she was told to believe.
