"Do you love me?" "No" Johnathan Egbert, royal blood and young god of Prospit, was eighteen when his twin sister ran away and abandoned her duty as a peace treaty to their rival kingdom, Derse. Now taking her place in disguise by force, John has to keep cover and survive months as the new bride of the Dersite Prince, a bastard by the name of David Strider, as the rest of Prospit goes in search for the missing rightful Heiress. Despite his initial dismay, John finds his Dersite counter-part isn't as bad as he seems. And soon John finds himself hoping Jade takes her time returning back to take his place.

Dave Strider is not a girl, even if it said that he was on his birth certificate. Thinking this manages to only get him one place, though, and that place is facing an awkward confrontation on the couch where his brothers figure out several things and where he starts over in New York and meets John Egbert, who makes him feel just a little funny in the best possible way, as well as resulting in suicidal episodes, hospitals, a pale kid he met on the roof (who's dying of cancer, by the way) and a boy who's really good at piano and has a really cute smile. Another discovery of an empty notebook on the grounds of said hospital leads instead to fifteen trips to try and fill up the pages left blank by the author who nobody can seem to find with stories of places that are just incredible enough to live for. ||TW: trans dave, Sadstuck, suicide attempt, cancer, hospitals||

This is old and I wrote it a good two years ago. My grammar is very bad and I'm very sorry. I'm not in this fandom anymore because of personal reasons but I'm trying to make a few more updates. Sorry.

John is the new kid, with everything that comes with that title; awkwardness, shyness, and attempts to make friends. Except all of this is made even worse with the fact that he's deaf. Dave is your stereotypical resident coolkid. Except he's not. He's a huge nerd, but most people find him intimidating, what with his shades and the fact that he doesn't talk to anyone. Or rather, that he can't talk to anyone, being mute. The two get paired together and form a close bond quite quickly, to the surprise of most of the school, but to none of their friends'. ((I really suck at descriptions. Also, updates for this aren't set, so be prepared for longish waits between chapters or several at a time.))

John Egbert is just a normal boy without a voice, and his life is suddenly changed when he becomes the target of a blood-thirsty Dave Strider, who's interest becomes peaked after nearly killing the little one, and a bromance begins between the two. Honhonhon, will the bromance stay a bromance? Or will it become something else entirely? [It starts out with John at six years old for a backstory, but it will only last for one chapter. He will end up being sixteen]

Sollux Captor had just been through a terrible tragedy. All he has is his friends and one online friend he wishes to get to know. But he's afraid of what he might think of him when he finds out he is a troll. What they don't know, is that they know each other both online and in high school.
