Jack Frost is the oldest spirit of them all. He is also the only child. Both King and Prince of Winter for longer than time itself, Jack allowed another Winter elemental to take kingship as he became Prince Jokul for millennia and also herald in the 1600s, being called Jack Frost. All of the winter spirits and sprites knew him and loved him as their frozen hearts could. He was forever a child, something almost all of the other seasons and spirits/sprites forgot.

Depressed and alone Jack takes to his pen and paper to write down the thoughts and feeling of which no human will ever hear. Invisible and isolated Jack falls deeper and deeper into a deadly depression.

The moon isn't the only celestial body with interest in Jack Frost. The stars like him, too. And hasn't anyone ever told you? Power comes with a price.

In the 8 years after the events of Rise of The Guardians, Jaime never forgot Jack, only just started loving him.

He was all alone and no one knew he was until he became 288 years old when he gained a little shadow while out in a forest bring winter. A little shadow who he came to love and care for, a shadow who died and joined him in his immortal life. The pair then taken on a journey with the guardians where they need to figure out who they are and how they feel for one another. Several years after Pitch's defeat, things are quieter. However, fear is still around even if Pitch is not and it strikes hardest when Jack tells his Guardian friends his secret. Who will be there for Jack if his closest friends are not? Maybe his first believer.

This story, unlike the others, doesn't start with the death of someone, so they become a new spirit. Not even with a big threat to the world. Its starts with the eternal young spirit of winter and fun, the lovable Jack Frost. He was spreading snow and happiness through Illinois, watching as the children and even a few adults played outside. It had been a year since the big battle against Pitch Black and he couldn't be happier. Children believed in him, everyone was safe and everything was fine. But Jack still felt lonely; he did have the Guardians and the children, but they were busy and couldn't play all the time. Jack, once again, looked at the moon and utter the words that he already had said so many times before. - Please, Manny! I just want to have some company, just one would be more than enough!
