There's no update shedule; I'm a mom with a full time job, so goodness only knows when I'm going to find time to actually write this... That being said, I am totally obsessed with these boys and have recently discovered that I adore writing. So there's hope! {fu·nam·bu·list: a tightrope walker/rope-dancer} Scott Hoying had been sitting in row 4, seat number 23, when he had been sure that his heart stopped beating. With his fingernails burrowed into his dark jeans and his lip between his teeth, he could do nothing but stare upwards - 50 feet above him- as the figure pranced along the high wire. The performer's body swayed to the melody around him, a stunning smile lighting up his entire face as he moved; his arms were thrown out to the sides, toes pointed, as he jumped along the tightrope. The massive tent expelled a blinding white light in the performer's direction, casting an ethereal glow upon his black-clad figure. On cue, the performer then quickly leaped forward, smile still intact, executing three of the most perfect front flips Scott had ever seen in his life. He thought the boy looked miraculous up there, and that was definitely an understatement. Though he was around same age as Scott himself, his way of performing showed experience and talent far beyond his years; the performer quite literally personified the music. It's sure that Scott was definitely the last person to be able to judge circus performers, as it wasn't exactly his area of expertise, but he knew passion when he saw it. Scott was certain that if he even attempted something of that calibre, he would probably start crying, if he didn't break his nose first.

Mitch is mute. Scott is in a wheelchair. Mitch wants to make a new friend but Scott hates the world. The two get paired up together to work on a project at school, will they be able to work together? Mitch wants to show Scott that he doesn't need to be angry at the world, but will Scott let him in?

Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin Olusola are just normal teenagers at a private high school. Minus the normal part. None of them are close to normal. They are all in different social groups, Scott is a gamer. Mitch is a rebel. Kirstin is a diva. Avi is a teacher's pet. And Kevin is an athletic. When put together as an experiment, will they clash, or become best of friends?

Mitch and Scott have been best friends forever, and Mitch has been in love with Scott a little less than forever, but Scott's with Alex, and all Mitch can do is sit by and watch him be happy, while he miserably cuts himself in the bathroom. After being locked out one night, Mitch realizes that Scott and Alex's relationship was a little more abusive than Scott was leading on. Will Mitch be able to save a traumatized Scott's heart before he gives up on love completely? Or will Mitch realize that he has to move on because Scott's just not his to lose?
