She wasn't that drunk. So the six-foot something creature rummaging through her fridge half-naked, at eight in the morning was real. Now here's the tinsy winsy problem; She lives alone. ------------------------------------------------ Let's just say Catherine Wright wasn't having the best day. "They say that before you an I had ever existed there was a kingdom and within its borders a world of magic." "And what happened to this kingdom Mama?" The older woman hummed softly, braiding the childs hair with gentle fingers, "The kings and queens of the surrounding realms saw danger in this kingdoms residents, for you see, it was the only land where magic resided. Together the waged a war against the potential threat to protect their subjects. The war was long. But eventually the kingdom of magic was purged." The little girl peered up at her mother, wide eyed, "but what of the men and ladies who use magic today?" "There were few that were spared in that war. the magic users we see today are their decedents. They side with kingdoms as they see fit and aid us." She peered at her reflection in awe, "All of them?" At this her mother gave pause, "...no, not all. There is one who claims no alliance. She is an ally to no kingdom." The child wrinkled her nose in confusion, "so she helps everyone?" "No..this sorceress is not kind like the few you have met through your father. She wishes for nothing more than destruction." "why?" "No one knows my dear child. Nor do we wish to cross paths with her even if it means to discover why." "But..wouldn't it help to ask her?" "It is not that simple dear. one day you will understand." The child hummed a bit, "okay." The room plunged into silence. "Hey mama?" "Yes dear?" "What is that ladies name?" The mother shook her head slightly, "No one knows, not really. She is shrouded in darkness, her identity a mystery besides the rumors that float around her. But they call her Sin." The little girl cocked her head to the side, "and what did Sin do with her magic if she didn't help people with her power?" At this the mother blanched, "She became the greatest assassin that ever lived."

Lorelei Eden is the daughter of a wealthy merchant, bored with her daily life and the binds that restrain her as a Lady. She dreams of freedom and a new wild life she knows she can never have. Or never thought she could. Not until pirates seize her fathers ship and take her along with the rest of their loot. Lorelei is thrust into an adventure she never even dreamed of, one she never wanted. One that is a constant threat to her life. An adventure by the name of Captain Adrien Axe. ~~ The man lounged upon the lowest yardarm of the mast, toying with a coin in his hair as he surveyed the scene of captives below. I glared up at him through my lashes, wishing he would fall and crack open his daft skull. As if sensing my thoughts his attention left the coin and shifted to where I sat, hands tied behind my back. A grin spread over his face, "Well..." he purred out, "now isn't that a pretty sight." I sincerely hope he was staring at my bosom because he fancies the gold and pearls that rests between them. He waved down at the dirty men carrying various things between ships, "her too...I like her, she's...." He licked his lips, "just lovely." My eyes grew wide as I was roughly pulled to my feet and they started to drag me away.

"I do not know what to tell you Mrs King. I have done as you asked. It is not my fault you dislike the results of your own decisions." The woman before me blinked rapidly, "My decisions? No I never decided any of this!" "...But you asked. What is known cannot be forgotten. It was your decision to peruse that lead to your pain." Abruptly she stood, her perfectly manicured fingers drumming on the tile counter, "no Delilah. I come to you because I need advice to give my husband to better our future. I pay you for that and that alone!" I sighed, "you do not. I am not here to tell you what you desire. I tell you what I see. I tell you what simply is and what will be." She started to pace, like some trapped animal. "I don't understand! because I found you we were saved from bankruptcy, you have never lead me astray and you have never told me something so terrible!" "Nothing so...terrible has shown itself to me before that concerns you." She shook her head, "tell me how to fix it!" "you cannot." "Now Delilah!" "You cannot. The boy will die." ~~ Delilah is a quiet girl, a seer who works for a wealthy woman by the name of Mrs. King. And then she tells her what no mother wants to hear. Mature for adult content!! The world we live in is a beautiful, mysterious place. My home, my country, has been my world my entire life, living as the cursed princess of Iris is all I have ever know. Just as the only eyes I have known in the mirror were my own. And my hair was always white as snow. Iris has always been my home, its people my family. The kind smiles of villagers and the curious looks of children seeing me for the first time, the contrast of myself against the rest of my family in portraits. The whisper of the trees and the laughter of the flowers has always been what I lived by. "why are you so sad?" I rested my forehead on the cracked bark of the Soul Tree. My second home from the palace. The tallest tree in all the king's forest. Today it was deeply saddened, rumbling with a sort of bitter energy that leaks coldly into my bones. I wondered what it knew that I did not as I sat perched in its branches, it is not often that it's strong mass wavers. When it does it can only mean change is to come, nothing small. Something altering the kingdom itself. I sighed, my fingers brushing over its leathery leaves, it wouldn't be long until someone else noticed its unease, it will sicken the forest. By then it will be too late. ~~ Flora Duval, the cursed princess of Iris was always a quiet girl, working through her duties as princess and caring for the life in her country. Seeing beauty in the things most could not. Never has she expected an offer for marriage, not with her hair and her eyes the same pink of the Fenni flower. But then, she receives one. Less of a question for her hand and more of a demand, a demand caging her like a white rabbit in a deadly hunters trap. Trapped by the king of Taragon for her unusual features and the rumors of her life, Flora is stranded in a country she has never known, captured in cold castle walls without an ally in sight.

*mature for lang and possible (probable) 'adult' content heh.* I was about to scream for help when a strange sort of smoke seeped from druggies mouth and entwined itself around tall and dark's hand, running up his arm and illuminating the sharp planes of his face, feeding into his slightly parted lips. I gasped, stumbling back from the scene. His eyes shot up to me, their silvery glow locking me in place as our gazes caught. The druggies body feel between us and the man's eyes seemed to illuminate further before everything was plunged into darkness I was petrified, paralyzed in place, a cool indifferent voice broke the silence. a whisper dangerously close to my ear, "sometimes they are unwanted by heaven or hell. Sometimes they have no where to go, no purpose but to feed those who need it." A scream tore from my throat as I felt a cool hand grasp my wrist and my heart beat rapidly dropping, warm breath against my ear. I was dying. Vega Moore and Beowulf night are an unlikely couple but three months after Wulf initial arrest things are going strong, both about to graduate it feels as if nothing could stop them. ...you know unless you count the huge target on their backs and the river of bullets being thrown at them as Wulf goes testify against his father. And then there is the still constant crimes being traced back to the Night family despite Leonardo Night having been cut off from all contact to the outside world. ~~ "Wulf...what the hell is this?" "It's a gun that looks really pretty with your eyes happy 6 month anniversary!" The blonde grinned rakishly at me. I leaned over the desk and whispered to him harshly, "You brought a gun to school?!" "no. I brought you a gun to school, I keep one here for me. and one or five in my car, you know that." "No! I didnt!" "Oh. well you do now. happy anniversary Hawaii." I looked at his smiling face trying to stay angry but in the end decided it wasn't worth it, I slipped the gun into my backpack, "happy anniversary Wulfie...how did you get that anyways." He winked at me playfully, "I'm a magician." He grew more serious, "but keep that on you okay? just incase." I sighed wanting to protest but nodding anyways, "okay." "I also bought you lingerie. I hope you know I'm not letting you go home today." I rolled my eyes..this boy, "You know my daddy wont stand for that." "You can't take that off. remember when you tired to shoot it off?" He made a noise in the back of his throat, "fuck you are one sexy nurse." ....really not the point.
