This novel is an adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Blind since birth, Elle Duncan has only ever known darkness, but lack of sight has never hindered her ability to perceive the beauty of the world. Her kind and gentle soul is put to the test when her father sustains an injury that threatens their livelihood, and in desperation, he turns to the most unlikely of saviors-the Rossetti Beast. Don Rossetti is bound for an unchanging fate. He is bad-tempered, with an equally dark and scarred countenance to match. With a heart forged of ice and a soul confined to darkness, he has surrendered to a forlorn existence. But when a peasant man arrives from the village begging for a favor, he is compelled to aid the farmer in exchange for a price-a price that Elle will be forced to pay. Because He decides how every story starts and how it ends. "Do you believe in God?" She asks, he shakes his head. "That's just a bunch of bull. In the world we live in, He doesn't exist." He replies. "I think, no I know He exists." She tells him, "And when I die, I'm going to Him." She smiles. "Like I'll let you go that easily." He laughs. But in the end, he is left with no choice to believe and put his faith in Him. Because He was all that stood between death and the woman he couldn't live another day without. And sometimes, the villain is the good guy. ©2015, CeeTheSpinster™ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

"Despite her most overpowering instincts to run and hide from the great beast that lurked beneath Allister's deathly pale skin, despite the most natural instincts engraved into her human mind, Ainslie couldn't resist the deep bond she felt for a man more frightening than her darkest nightmares. For while he was her very nightmare brought to life, he was also the only man she truly trusted in her heart, the only man she had ever felt such a connection to, the only man she had ever known to be such a compelling contradiction worth every bit of her attention and compassion." ~ One woman, snatched away in the darkness of the night by The Beiste of Bolham ~ Every full moon the Beast of Bolham awakes, overpowered by the strong hold the moon has over him and unable to deny his natural urges, humanity is shed and the transformation of the beast is complete. Fearful of the Beasts full power the men of the village, armed with swords and flaming torches, collect together for the hunt to chase down the Beast to protect their women and children. Over ridden by her curiosity of the strange noises in the forest, Ainslie Clayworth ventures out into the darkness with only a lamp to guide her. But when the flame dies out and she's met with the face of the fearsome beast itself, her curiosity may just be her fatal mistake. COPYRIGHT ALL RIGHTS RESERVED 2016 PART I COMPLETE PART II ONGOING
