Dean and Sam are adopted by Dick Roman after their mom dies and their father disappears. Roman is a business man and is trying to get a new client. While Roman and Chuck are talking, Chuck invites Roman on a camping trip with him and his son, Castiel. Roman sees this as a great chance to get Chuck as his client, so he agrees, also taking Dean so that Castiel won't be alone. Will this camping trip end with gaining a new client, or with 2 high school students falling in love?

Their father has hardly been in their lives, his job as a drug dealer requiring him to disappear for long periods of time and causing them to move around a lot. Cas, Dean, and Sam have been hunting together and splitting off to take smaller jobs. The story starts with the three of them on three separate hunts. Cas is human and wounded. He shows up at Dean's motel in need of help. What proceeds is the two of them meeting up with Sam and going on an involved hunt, over the course of which Dean and Cas slowly figure out their feelings for each other. Lots of awkwardness (in a good way), some mild angst, comfort, and eventually fluff and smut.

And, soon, Dean Winchester is stuck underneath this bound of trust, hope and love, and things he had never felt with others; only with a sick man who is trapped inside a white hospital room.
