Based off of the broadway musical Hamilton's song called "It's Quiet Uptown" where Phil and Dan go's to see the musical because they tickets. Also they broke up not long ago, so many feels are going through Dan's mind.

Dan meets Phil when he’s nine and Phil’s thirteen, and he very quickly becomes the best thing in Dan’s life. But Phil’s a merman and no one else believes that he exists.

PREVIOUSLY CALLED PASTEL AND PUNK Dan Howell and Phil Lester are best friends, Phil being respected due to him having a punk look, and Dan being looked down upon for his own pastel one. Dan begins to receive letters, though, in his locker. They start friendly but slowly get more flirty... and Dan doesn't mind. He wonders who it is though, and even starts to wonder a few things about himself too. Who keeps sending him this letters mysteriously signed "L", and are they really as nice as they sound?
