(Companion story to The Next Great Adventure) Cassie Jones is a typical witch; she joins Hogwarts at the age of eleven after looking forward to it her entire life and quickly makes a number of friends, the closest one being Lily Evans. Her loyalty to Lily leads her into many things, including enmity with the Marauders, James, Sirius, Remus and Peter but eventually it asks the greatest price of all.

Lily Evans has hated James Potter ever since their first year at Hogwarts. It's not something that Lily ever expects to change. But outside the castle walls, a dark wizard is rising. No one is safe anymore. Lily is thrown into this fight, merely because she is a muggleborn. Even with her magical abilities, she is fighting to have a place in the magical world. Will she be alone in this fight, or will someone she never expected join her?

The war has concluded, and the Golden Trio and the other students of their year have returned to finish off their years at Hogwarts. The Death Eaters have been imprisoned, and Hogwarts has been repaired. However, the war changed everyone, whether it was a small change or a more evident one. Relationships have been broken, but some have also been formed... Could there finally be a normal year at Hogwarts? Of course not.

Many, many years after Bramblestar's rulership, the Clans have had their peace. War and fighting was long forgotten, except for common quarrels. But nothing ever lasts as long as the Clans will live, and soon, their dark days return as unexpected as a cat pouncing on its prey. Things become difficult for five young cats as they receive a dark and dangerous new prophecy that had been buried in the depths of time itself. All of these apprentices are trying to become accomplished warriors to their Clans, but it becomes more dangerous and difficult as mysterious new beings come and go within their territories, wrecking havoc. Now, it's up to these five apprentices and their friends to solve the mysteries of the prophecy that is told to them by StarClan themselves, before all connection with their ancestors is lost. Sagepaw, Nightpaw, and Timberpaw have all choosen their destinies but there has been an interference. StarClan's prophecy comes in nearer as the three ThunderClan apprentices grow older and more mature. Threats from the Dark Forest hang grimly over the thoughts of the StarClan warriors as the watch the Clans go about their days oblivious to the pending time when the shadowy cats shall strike again. Another danger has fallen across the Clan cats. Bramble, a murderous rogue, is preparing to overthrow the Clans. Was the three cat's choice in their path the right one? Or had they choosen the way to their inevitable doom.
