This new council has persuaded the other kingdoms to impose harsh segregation laws on the faunus in Remnant due to the chaos caused by the White Fang, causing much unrest within the rebel organisation, and the rest of the faunus population. But something else is amiss. Faunus are going missing, and new Grimm are appearing in unexpected places. Old friendships are pushed to the limit, dark secrets unearthed, and the history of the White Fang and other mysterious figures are revealed. Ozpin advises everyone to leave it to the adults, but when Blake disappears, for team RWBY, there's no holding back. Celsius is thrust into a team CRLN, a group of strong and sometimes conflicting personalities and shoved into the world of Beacon politics. To make matters worse, as increasing numbers of hunters and huntresses disappear, Academy students are expected to pick up high-level missions and assignments. Team CRLN, as a first-year team, is exempt from many of these, until by a strange turn of events and Professor Ozpin's confusing logic, they are shoved into a mission that happens to be the very reason hunters are disappearing in the first place- Codename: Project GALE.
