In this world there are mortal who's reach the deity territory by controlling elements to it's fullest called the Seven Archon. They are the current deities that support the will of world called Teyvat and guiding the humanity toward their current civilization. But among of those Archons, there is one favored by the will of world. They are called the guardian of humanity, The Counter Guardian. They are the most favourite but at the same time the most easily forgotten. They were chosen by the other world's will, Alaya. Their job is to prevent humans to destroy themselves. But, due the time their number decreased and only leaving one of them still alive. He is called Emiya, the Steel Archon. The man himself only sighs in disappointed as watches the scenery in front of him. The desert, that filled with endless sword across horizon which he was called as the grave of fallen.

The 'Signs in the Sky' are what keeps the world of Equatilia at peace. For many years, these signs had prevented for things going wrong in their world and if even a single one is lost, the world will turn to chaos. Every generation, the oldest descendant with the same gender of the former Signs work hard to prepare to replace their predecessor. This is a story about the 'Zodiacs', as what their classmates call them. They are a group of people that are 'friends'. Or, as some normal people think, has some kind of connection, both negative or positive. However, the Zodiacs must put aside their differences, when a tragedy occurs during a supposedly fun night. Now, all twelve of them must work together to bring down their one or two enemies. However, what they don't know is, one of them is killing the group from within them. The problem is, who?
