Kayla is only 18. She lives with her little brother in a little town called Cymer (Cummer), Wales. Soon after her 18th Birthday, Kayla started to experience some strange things, to which scare her to the point of hiding her power. When a new boy comes along, she finds herself wanting him; not the blood that runs through his vains.
