This is a short story I wrote for this terms English assessment and I am putting this up 1. Because I'm pretty proud of it and 2. Because I'd like some feedback on if it's good or not. This is a horror fairy tale rewrite of Red Riding Hood. It should be a few chapters long. I hope you enjoy! :)

we all feel lonely sometimes. this is a story about being lonely in the company of other lonely people. *trigger warning for suicide and eating disorders. please read with care* *this story is going to be (at least an attempt to be) deep. it's not just going to be something where you can read the words and understand; you're going to have to think(a little bit... maybe? idk. like i said, it's an attempt.). also, it's probably going to be a huge, messy thing, so just bear with me, i suppose. thank you.* *lowercase intended*

"See, I know life isn’t fair or free Never turn your back on family And even though you love me, let me be I’m sure, I don’t need you anymore." - Loyal Friend and Thoughtful Lover by The Wind and the Wave A series of poems stemming from one of the most traumatic stages of life: adolescence. Which, I happen to have recently entered. **DISCLAIMER** These poems do NOT ALL STEM FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. These are also what some of my friends, on and offline, are going through *Formerly Thoughts and Emotions form a Teenage Girl*

"I hate how the human race complicates things. You're born, and then you die. The space between that is a grey area. It's a blank line. It's all up to you on how you fill the line. You can write good or bad or spontaneous or wonderful-it's up to you. The only catch is that you don't know how long that blank line is. And it sucks that I want to fit spontaneous and wonderful on that line, because for some reason, it got cut too short."
