He was forced into this fake relationship even though his parents knew he didn't feel that way towards Petra, even women in general. They were against the fact he told them a while ago that he was not into women, but rather into men. His parents didn't care, and deemed him a sinner for going into a different interest. They thought that he could make it up by being a husband to a lady, like the way it should be in matrimony. They decided to go cruise over the ocean in the and had him and Petra share a place to become 'closer'. But they were only becoming closer as friends. Eren lived a hard life. He only lived with his mom and sister, Mikasa, and his best friend Armin whose family has died, so they took him in. His father was always away, trying to get some money. On Eren's sixteenth birthday, his mom revealed money. The money was for them to explore the ocean with everyone he loved, on the Titanic. Two people met on one fateful day. It was different, though, because the two were pretty sure they've never seen the other before in their entire life, but they knew that when green eyes met gray, they couldn't help but fall in love.
