However, after a visit from the commander of the Talora Royal Army, summer for Kiro and Team 4 would be put on hold as Arch-Mage Maylin assigns them their first mission: to retrieve the Book of Xerxes, an ancient book of immense power. Seems easy enough, except that second, unknown group is also after the book, and their intentions for the book are all but pure. Unknown to not just Team 4 but the whole of Slayer Academy, the search for the Book of Xerxes would merely be the start of a series of hardships yet to come.
