This takes place after book 9. When Darkstalker comes to be. Moon watched in horror as the burly nightwing rose from the ground. He stretched out then sought for Moon. Finding her curled up and afraid he maniacally laughed. Darkstalker took over her mind, all that was left was her soul. Winter tries to save her from this darkness. But he could be to late. Another love seems to bloom between the all powerful Darkstalker and a new dragoness, a hybrid of tribes, who hides more than she tells. This is the story of a young dragonet named Shadow, and him leaving his home in pursuit of his freedom from his scheming father and tribe. Only instead he finds himself with more burden than freedom. While in hiding he finds more than freedom. He finds an uneasy companionship with five other dragonets that he's not sure about. Now faced with the threat of his father finding him to take away his new life. Will Shadow abandon his new friends to go hunting for his new found ambition. To become one with the monster within him in the process, or will he stand and fight for his freedom, and friends. In the end the question is, can he make it out of this as himself in the end?

I know crazy right. My father once visited the land of Pyrrhia and fell in love with a mudwing which was gusto, but he stole a potion and used it to turn himself into a mudwing. Then I was born, but I'm hunted down, by the WeatherWings. They want me dead. So I was taken to the Scavenger world (also known as Earth) and was raised there. But now, I have to fight the king of the WeatherWings. Yes a king. He not only wants to destroy me, but destroy Pyrrhia and Earth as well. He will kill you, and destroy my and your loved ones. I am the only one who could stop him according to the prophecy. Or is it? Get prepared for his attack, but he will not come for you, I will defeat him for Earth and Pyrrhia's sake for survival.
