Alex is a student at Murdock's Academy for Heroes, a school that has had a long standing rivalry with the anti-Super school called Annihilus Academy. Alex just wants to have a normal year of learning how to control their powers to become a more effective hero (or, in their case, how to suppress them). However, with a scheming villain by the name of Echo and his 'minion,' a hydrokinetic named Cascade-hopelessly in love with him-Alex's growing feelings for their best friend, Hestia, and a complicated love mess between friends, how normal a school year can Alex really have?
