Claire Lannister is the daughter of Tyrion Lannister. She was found and a newborn in the woods by King Robert during one of his hunting trips. He brought her back to the castle and she took a great liking to Tyrion, who had also gained a liking to the infant. And so he raised her as his own. But as she grew older, Tyrion noticed how different she was from other young ladys of the capital. For instance, she saw Sandor "The Hound" Cleagne as someone she could trust. She had a great hatred for her cousin Jeoffry and Gregor "The Mountain" Cleagne and she wasn't afraid to show it. Claire had a love for sword play and even asked her uncle Jaime to teach her. Claire also enjoyed playing games with the children of whores, not wanting the love of gossip and other girly things to rub off on her. But the two most strangest things about her was that Claire was, even as a young child, quiet strong for her age. Not to mention that, whenever Claire would touch someone, she would know things about them that shocked even the person she touched.
