It has been two months since Mitch had been in his house being practically burnt alive. It has been a month since Scott and Mitch have moved to California. But in a matter of hours. A dream turns into a nightmare.

Mitch is the new kid at school, and he almost always has his nose in a comic book or just a book such as Harry Potter. Scott notices he likes comic books, and starts talking to him. When Scott sees what's inside the comic, he realizes something about Mitch that gives him a little bit of hope between the two of them.
