"Can you hear me?" she asked. No one answered. "I'm right here." Silence. Not even a glance. She swallowed hard. "Do I even exist to you?" The room buzzed with voices, laughter, conversations weaving around her, but not with her. "Say something. Anything." Nothing. She let out a shaky breath. "Maybe if I disappear, you'll finally notice." Silence again. "Left Unseen" is the story of those unheard, unnoticed-of voices lost in the noise, of people who feel invisible even in a crowded room. If you've ever felt this way, this book is for you. #1 poetry

What if the saints of old walked among us today-would we honor their triumphs, or whisper about their secrets? Zarinna knows the weight of hidden truths. Once devoted, now marked by choices she cannot undo, she carries shame like a shadow she cannot shake-and a longing for a God she fears may no longer be there. Then he appears. David Awiyao. No announcements, no fanfare-just a man whose calm presence seems to see through the cracks in her life, whose words stir something she thought buried forever. Grace begins to move where shame once ruled, and questions she dared not ask start to demand answers. Will she retreat into her darkness-or step into a light she never expected? In a world where security cameras prove what you have done and databases define who you are, the few who know how to manipulate the technology can play God. They can change the future; they can alter the past. They can make big money, they can save the world, and they can get away with murder over and over again. Danielle Leaf grew up believing she was safe. Now she knows she was wrong. Award-winning author Jon Evans returns with new heroes and a compulsive, fast-paced story that examines issues of Third World exploitation and the extreme edge of anti-capitalist activism. Invisible Armies is Cold War suspense for the modern age, a thriller that looks behind the power of protests and the politics of big business. Reviews "Thought-provoking ... Invisible Armies is an intriguing, pacy read and Mr Evans shows great potential."-The Economist "A tough-as-nails technothriller... People who aren't morons and like thriller novels ought to read this."-Bruce Sterling "Evans has created a new genre, the travelogue as fast-paced action thriller."-Montreal Gazette About the Author Jon Evans's novels have been published around the world, translated into half a dozen languages, and praised by The Economist, The Times of London, and the Washington Post. His journalism has appeared in Wired, Reader's Digest, The Guardian, The Globe & Mail, and The Times of India, and he writes a weekly column for TechCrunch. He can be found online at www.rezendi.com.

🅦🅐🅣🅣🅨🅢 ➋⓿➊➑ 🅢🅗🅞🅡🅣🅛🅘🅢🅣 (𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 2) **Incomplete/on hold** During a terrible nationwide drought, desert--land stretches as far as the eye can see. Corbin is a Water Witcher, who can sense and find water beneath the ground, but doesn't advertise it due to fear of being enslaved for government purposes. Drifting through the wasteland, he runs into a pair of siblings desperate to survive and learns that first impressions are deceiving. Especially Everleigh. There's a child-like innocence about her, yet she shows zero hesitation in murdering a desert thief. Thanks to past betrayals, Corbin keeps to himself, but a barbaric new law forces him to step out of his comfort zone. There are ways around this law, some are legal, but most are not. Either way, he's is not losing sight of the two siblings and will even risk revealing his gift of water witching if it means helping them. Limits are tested, loyalty is questioned, and trust becomes fragile, but if there is one thing threading their lives together, it's the determination to survive living in a time of thirst. ♡♡ What the critics are saying ♡♡ "I just wanted to tell you that your first chapter was one of the best intro chapters I've read on Wattpad. Hope to read more :)" - DC_Outlaw "This is really good, I'm definitely going to keep reading!" - Heatheranno "My heart was pumping the whole way!! Really incredible![...] Loved how you introduced all the characters, and the description throughout the story was very well done
