This is a fanfic sequel to Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. There will be *SPOILERS* for Carry On, so definitely read that first! I just loved the book so much, and I couldn't stop thinking about the characters and wondering what their lives would be like post-epilogue. Would Simon ever find out the truth about his parents? Is Baz immortal? Will Penny move to America to be with Micah? Is Agatha ever going to return to the World of Mages? Would Fiona come across Nico in her new gig as a vampire hunter? I thought it'd be fun to explore all these questions and more in a serialized story. I'm not sure how many parts there will be, or how often I will update this, but I couldn't get the ideas out of my head unless I started writing them down. So that's what this is. I hope you enjoy!

Standing at the edge is easy. Going over the edge takes more than you think. I'm the guy that always took the first step or went flying by with my hair on fire. I still do crazy stuff but now only the heights aren't as lofty and the risks aren't as severe. Why? Either because I'm a little wiser or there's not as much to risk. I haven't figured that part out yet. Maybe I'm not smart enough to know when I should/could take a break from standing at the edge and making that step. But, that's not important. What is important is that when I go I will know what it's like to have gone over the edge. If you're lucky, you'll have similar experiences and be able to use what i have done as a set of rules for how not to live your life. See you when I see you unless you go over the edge before I do, Roger Hamrsmyth
