Steve is an investigator for the NYPD. He's working on a case with his team to take down an underground dog fighting club called HYDRA. HYDRA kidnaps women, men, and children, and injects them with a serum that allows them to shapeshift into dogs. And his childhood friend happens to be one of them. You can become best friends with the person at the bus stop. In time, of course. It may be awkward at first and neither of you say a word, but maybe they'll have a pin on their bag of your favorite character and it sparks up a conversation. You talk more and more, even about the smallest things, such as how dark it is outside or how much sleep you got last night. It's chilly in the mornings so you offer each other your coat. But the minute the Tin Can shows up, everything changes. You don't know each other. You sit in the front while the other sits in the back with some friends. You don't talk at school or even look at them. This is what I call the Bus Stop Effect.

In a world where people are black and white colorblind until they look into the eyes of their soulmate, Keith is a stickler. He believes that none of that really exists, and soulmates are crap. It's not real! But then he meets Lance at Coran's birthday party, he's tall, tan, and handsome. He's also blind. Lance is obnoxious and loud, and Keith assumes that it's to make up for his lack of eyesight. Keith wants to be with Lance, but he's afraid of how much he'd have to give up to date a blind boy. And when he feels himself falling, he can't bring himself to look in Lance's eyes.

I love you...those words are terrifying. Any emotional relationship is scary. All I want is to leave my perfect innocent self behind. I want to live on the wild risky side of life. So when I decided to leave everyone and thing behind I didn't regret it. Not for a single moment.
