Nirvana. Sure it’s the name of a famous band, but have you ever considered the meaning of the word itself? Nirvana is described as a state of perfect happiness; an ideal or idyllic place. Nirvana is a paradise, a happiness that we strive to achieve when we’ve reached the self actualization stage of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. How many of us are actually able to even come close to such a feeling? How does each of us define our nirvana? Do we define it as success, love, giving back to others? However we may define our nirvana, there are always surprises, bumps, and bruises along the way. The road to nirvana is not paved with gold, but the end result is worth as much. The beautiful odyssey to nirvana has its ups and downs, but one thing is guaranteed, we never go it alone. There are always people that we meet along the way, that may push us and accompany us toward nirvana, but there are also those people that will hold us back. We have to decide who those people are in our lives. And when new people enter our worlds, it can either complicate things, or be the next step to our ultimate paradise. The question is, which will be the case for Nora and Harry?
