I shiver at the thought of Siberian-roamers. They tear apart Incandescence-walkers, sinking their teeth into our flesh and clawing at our skin as we struggle, until the deadly poison in their fangs sets in and paralyzes us, allowing us to feel the intense pain of our mauling before we are eaten barely alive. We all live in terror of Siberian-roamers, but they only walk the land during autumn and winter. They can only live in the cold of their own nature. Acacia looked me right in the eyes as she said the most senseless words that had ever come out of her mouth. “I am going to stay out here and see the snow this winter.” Incandescence-walkers only spend spring and summer outside their stone caves. Siberian-roamers only spend the fall and winter above their underground burrow. Incandescence-walkers fear the Siberian-roamers and lock themselves away when Siberian-roamers come out. Acacia is an Incandescence walker and she wants what no Incandescence-walker has wanted before... she wants to see the snow. *this story is open for critique
