Mackenzie has been living in Ivring Street practically her whole life. She just culminated from sixth grade and now it's time for her to start a new year in Ivring Jr./Sr. High School. A few days before school is about to start, she meets Mykie, a boy who just moved in right across the street. They become friends and do everything together, but it seems Mykie is drifting away from Mackenzie little by little.
