THIS STORY IS GOING THROUGH A REWRITE. IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING, THINK AGAIN. LOOK OUT FOR A FULLER TALE COMING SOON!! Madelyn Vissor prefers to go by Mattie, at least she thinks she does. She's just moved from California to Massachusetts to escape having to deal with her problems; which aren't normal for a junior in high school. She was in a car accident. Not a "you hit a tree replace your bumper" type accident. Hers was a "your car has crumbled into an accordion and we need the jaws of life to pry your dying body from within" type crash. Miraculously she survives and almost completely recovers. As far as she knows, the accident only really took one thing from her - her memories. Hoping to spare her daughter the pain of living a life she doesn't remember, her mom moves her across the country for a fresh start. Giving up everything for her daughter, she only asking one thing in return. Mattie can't look up her accident. This is easy for Mattie because she doesn't want to know. But when a new friend discovers an article about the accident, will she tell Mattie the secret her mother's been keeping? And who is the guy she sees in the park?
