-UNEDITED- [ONLY THE FIRST FIVE CHAPTERS ARE EDITED] IF YOU WANT TO READ THE EDITED CHAPTERS AND BONUS CHAPTER, head to 'Scrollstack'. •Indian Arranged Marriage• I had heard of him but never actually seen him. I never thought, in my wildest dream that our paths would cross. Until it happened- he came knocking down on my door. Taking my breath away, as I lost myself in those chocolate brown eyes. We met, we talked, and we said yes. I thought he was handsome but when I actually got to know him- he wasn't just about looks that this world talked about. No. He is truly the gem his name means. Manik Malhotra. A person who'd achieved so much at this young age and still the most down to earth and gorgeous person I've ever come across, and not just his looks. He became mine as I became his. Our waves of love weren't for someone else to hear... it was for us. As we spoke through our eyes. Our smiles and his teasing winks. The shining moon, twinkling stars and the fireflies became the witnesses of our love. Our love roaring in waves enough for just the two of us to hear or feel. They say it was an arranged marriage, decided by our family. I say-- it was a match made by God who knew we will complete each other in every sense. Note- If you're not looking for a fun, cheesy, romantic, sappy and cliché book... please stay away. This book does NOT have any unnecessary drama, cliffhangers and negative plotline. "Treat my wound" he said, laying down on the cold floor of the maid's room in his mansion. "B...but it's too deep. I can't... you need to go to the hospital, sir" the maid replied, her lips trembling, tears pooling in her eyes. "Do it" he said calmly, no trace of pain on his face as he turned his back toward her, his skin carved with wounds. With shaking hands, she stepped closer, the first-aid kit clutched tightly. Tears slid down her cheeks as she began treating him. He lay there on the floor, careless of dignity, of blood, of the world, his eyes fixed on her. And in them lived something forbidden... something powerful enough to destroy everything. He asked her to treat his wounds. But what he truly wanted... was for her to heal him. And she...she was forbidden to even think of him. Forget healing him. What will happen when a sinister mafia becomes obsessed with his maid? Will a soft, pure-hearted girl fall in love with the man the world fears to even look at? Read the story to find out what destiny has planned for them.

I loved her first. She married him anyway. Ten years later, she showed up at my door, broken, betrayed, begging for help to leave the husband who threw her away. She thinks I'm being kind. Helping an old friend. She doesn't know I've been waiting. She never knew how I loved her. Never knew I watched her wedding from the back of the church. Never knew she was the reason I buried my heart so deep even I forgot where. Now she's back. Vulnerable. Trusting. Asking the one man who never stopped wanting her to help her walk away from someone else. This time? I'm not letting her go.
