Beacon Hills' community becomes laced with demons who are wanting something in particular and the only one who seems to know what they're doing is Stiles Stilinski's sister Addison. It seems the innocent little one isn't as clean as everyone though and only big, bad Derek Hale is willing to give her the time to explain. The King of Hell wants the Eclipse Child, a special person that he can weaponize to end the world. It's known to run in the blood of the Stilinski's maternal line, but the only problem is that neither side of the battle knows which twin is the right one. The King is willing to shed blood to obtain his prize, but the wolves and hunters of Beacon Hills are willing to do just the same to fight him off and take their town back.

Ryder McCall was an average teenage girl. She had popularity, great friends, great looks, even great clothes. Her only issues in life seemed to be what ridiculously expensive outfit her best friend Lydia was going to wear, or hmmmm I don't know, maybe the fact she has been in love with her brother's best friend since FOREVER! High school. It's difficult enough to navigate on its own. Especially when you were quick-witted, bitterly sarcastic, and emotionally constipated with a bad case of verbal diarrhea. And yes she was aware of the inherent contradiction contained within that phrase. When Charlie Oswin moved to Beacon Hills to live with her aunt after the death of her father, she thought the worst she'd have to deal with was gossip, term papers, and her new best friend and across-the-street neighbor Lydia Martin lipsticking her to death in the never-ending quest to make Charlie socially acceptable. Actually Lydia had described it more as avoiding becoming a 'facepalm-inducing embarrassment'. But for a tiny town that was 90% forest with only one functional movie theater, there sure seemed to be a lot of people dying. There was something going on in Beacon Hills--something off. Enter one Stiles Stilinski. He was a twitchy, sarcastic weirdo, and she definitely appreciated that in a person. He and his friend Scott McCall also happened to be at the center of every strange thing that was going on in this weird-ass town. It was one giant mystery. And she was going to figure out what it was. She just never expected to stop being scary and defensive long enough to start developing actual human feelings along the way.
