Well, the Fates just wanted some girl power, I guess. I don't know, you can never tell with the Fates, and book 2 ought to have some male perspectives, do not fret. Even the boys are confused why the Fates started to favor female roles ;) ) have to find the goddess Hecate to cast or give them a light spell to use against the Darkened Ones to protect the camp from other darkness-sired creatures. Not only do the three female heroes have to find the goddess they seek, but they have to find who is responsible for the resurfacing in the unbalance between light and dark. The quest begins.
