Scarlet was never one for online games until one day she signs on to a new game that her friends convinced her to buy, and finds that she has been stolen from her world and placed into the game world of Stellarists Online. Along her way to find an escape from the game, she meets new friends who are in the same position as herself. Will they be able to escape the game? And if they do, what will happen to the world when they return?

The Village of Byol is a most vile place. The lords and ladys that govern it are callous and consumed by greed. While they sit in safe and warm manor homes, feasting on many fine beasts, the people of the village are left to wither and fear that which dwells in the nearby marshes. The Marshes claim many victims each year, most of which are the lives of the brave hunters who must enter the marshes in search of food. They encounter many beast, but none are so majestic and beautiful as the Kelpie, the shining Waterhorse of the murky marshes.

No one else, other than Jaden, realizes that one of them holds the key to victory. Who is the one that holds this key? Will they ever be able to escape this game? Or will they all fall into darkness and despair?
