When Hiccup runs away from Berk he finds himself in the empire of Rome. After years he's been welcomed in, made friends, gone on adventures and lived a life he could never had dreamed of in Berk. But now war looms. Drago Bludvist wants to wipe dragons and those who ally themselves with them off the map, conquering any land that has been touched by draconic existence. And standing with him in the shadows is celestial meddling. Hiccup and his friends must protect their home and dragons, but Drago has brought the Vikings into this, and homecoming may be what lies upon the horizon. So with the help of a Roman legion, dragon army, tribes of Vikings and possibly a little celestial help of their own, maybe Hiccup will stand a chance. Maybe. But he has to amass those forces first. Hiccup ran far away from his so called home. Berk, it still makes him angry yet sad at the same time. He left Berk behind when he was 15 and he had won Dragon training. His reasoning? well he had trained one of them. A dragon. Not just any dragon, a Night fury. The unholy offspring of lightning and death itself. He had fled from Berk unnoticed until the next morning but he did not know if he was ever going back.

A fifteen year old boy. Skinny, forgotten, alone. No one liked him; he was a natural disaster. He runs away one day, with his only friend, and finds someone he thought was gone forever and someone he never knew even existed! He was lost, and then found. Finally, he felt like he was where he belonged. But was he? Where does he belong? On Berk? With his newfound family? With a tribe of dragon riders? Everywhere? Nowhere? He doesn't know. It's been 2 years since I met my mother. I became chief and toothless became alpha. I'm now known as the Dragon Master. I'm very proud of this title if I do say so myself. I might be chief but with dragons by our side, I still have the time to live life the way I did discovering new lands. Me, my girlfriend and the rest of the gang have come across a couple of familiar faces and are now having to face new challenges. Even with all this spare time I have though, I still wish toothless had another of his kind. And maybe someday I will find one...
