At his 3rd birthday and he got his first beating, he met the Nine Tailed Fox otherwise known as Kurama. From that Kurama started training Naruto to his limits, he trained him until Naruto doesn't have the energy to move. At the age of 5 he became an ANBU. He celebrated by himself but the villagers saw him and they beat him up, in the beating someone stabbed his left eye making him blind on the left side.
