Books are the light of Jack's life. He doesn't really care about much else in this seemingly unordinary world. The fantasies he reads about tell him that he needs to be special to have his story told. But he finds out that it's not what makes you extraordinary, but someone who makes you feel like you are.

Getting drunk seems like a good idea when you're trying to repress things. Alex has decided this. One night however, he goes a little overboard. Jack helps him get home all safe and sound but some stuff gets said that certainly shouldn't have tumbled past drunken lips.

This is my first ever jalex fan fiction so please be gentle... Alex is your normal band geek, while jack is your average football star and bully. But it wasn't always like that, there was a time where they could be said to be best friends. They had the same dream once too, to be a famous rock and roll icon and to just perform for all the weird kids like them. But that dream was soon washed away when jacks Dad forces jack to join the foot ball team and jack soon finds himself in certain circumstances where he has to bully Alex and as years pass by jack starts liking bullying the weaker boy and even goes as far as disregarding their previous friendship.
