Being a teenager isn't easy to say the least - being a teenager in an oppressive state is difficult, being a teenager in a capitalist world is horrible, being a teenager in the upper echelon of society is atrocious, but; being a teenager in an oppressive, capitalist, sexist, close-minded, culturally bipolar, fanatically "religious", intensely judgmental country with a society that practically worships both gossip and the "behind closed doors" policy -all the while being a female? You're fucked love. Welcome aboard the adventure of a gang of blossoming young women in a High School in Cairo, Egypt struggling to find themselves in the contradictory mess they call their culture - a tribute to the once pure souls tainted by the darkness of sin and tragedy, pain and loss, and the hopeless attempts of trying to regain that purity only to be denied at every turn. Do our mistakes define us?
